About KIN MOVE AND MUSIC
The Nest is about building the body and brain together from the earliest months. Beginning at around 4 months, babies and toddlers explore movement through tummy time, rolling, crawling, climbing, balancing, sports, and creative play. Each stage is designed to strengthen gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence. More than just “gym play,” KIN Move and Music lays the neurological foundation for focus, problem-solving, and resilience — all while children have fun in a supportive, nurturing environment.
How The Nest Looks in Each Stage
KIN NEST 1 (Approx. 4-12 months):
Gentle beginnings:
MOVE — tummy time, rolling, reaching, supported sitting, early crawling. Focus on bonding, sensory exploration, music, and safe early movement.
MUSIC — early childhood songs, rhythms through rocking and clapping, soft percussion, and parent-baby bonding through song. Focus on sensory-rich sound experiences that deepen connection and attunement.

KIN NEST 2 (Approx. 8–14 Months):
Confident movers — crawling, cruising, standing, and early walking. Focus on confidence in movement, coordination, sensory play, music, and social interaction.

SPROUT MOVE:
KIN MOVE is for the active explorers — an engaging program designed to nurture the adventurous spirit in children through various physical activities such as crawling, cruising, walking, climbing, balancing, and jumping. By emphasizing coordination, we create a dynamic environment where children can thrive. Our activities are structured around gym exercises and creative movement that not only engage the whole child but also promote independence. Through play, dance, and exploration, children develop essential motor skills while having fun and building lasting friendships.

SPROUT MUSIC:
KIN MUSIC nurtures rhythm, melody, and expression from the very first months. Rooted in Perry School’s signature Musical Toolbox, children sing, move, and explore real instruments in joyful, hands-on ways that strengthen language, listening, and social connection. More than just a singalong, KIN MUSIC builds the foundation for creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of music.
Active explorers — instrument play (shakers, drums, bells), call-and-response songs, movement games, and early group music-making. Focus on rhythm, coordination, language development, and joyful self-expression.

SPROUT THINK:
KIN THINK sparks curiosity and early problem-solving through hands-on exploration. Children investigate cause-and-effect, experiment with textures and tools, and explore problem solving through a creative learning journey blending discovery and play. Early literacy and is woven in through stories, songs, and language-rich activities that nurture vocabulary and comprehension. From building and sorting to tinkering and storytelling, KIN THINK helps young learners develop focus, creativity, and a love of discovery — all in a joyful, multi-sensory environment.

SPROUT STUDIO:
KIN STUDIO is a sensory-rich, project-based experience inspired by Reggio Emilia. Children dive into hands-on explorations with art materials, sand, water, clay, and natural objects — learning through touch, play, and creativity. Every session invites little ones to experiment, imagine, and build, strengthening fine motor skills, problem-solving, and self-expression. KIN STUDIO is less about “crafts” and more about process: open-ended projects that honor curiosity, independence, and discovery.
