Preschool Lead Teacher - 2s/3s/4s
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Full-Time & Part-Time
Responsibilities:
-
Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood best practices.
-
Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth.
-
Lead daily activities including literacy, math, art, STEM, music/movement, and social-emotional learning.
-
Maintain strong classroom management to ensure a structured, positive, and joyful learning space.
-
Observe, document, and assess children’s developmental progress using approved tools.
-
Identify developmental needs and implement individualized support strategies.
-
Collaborate with parents, therapists, and support staff to meet the unique needs of each child.
-
Prepare progress reports and lead parent-teacher conferences.
-
Build strong, positive relationships with parents through open and professional communication.
-
Provide daily updates to families and maintain communication logs as needed.
-
Greet parents and children with a warm, welcoming presence each day.

Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
-
Oversee Teaching Assistants and classroom support staff to maintain smooth routines and transitions.

Assist with classroom setup, organization, and cleanup each day.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, with ongoing study toward certification
Requirements:
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood, childcare, daycare, or preschool settings.
-
Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and classroom management.
-
Experience in special education or early intervention is a plus.
-
Knowledge of literacy, numeracy, and play-based learning strategies.
-
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
-
Successful completion of DOI Identogo fingerprinting, background checks, and health clearances.
-
Reliable, punctual, and able to commit through June (with possibility of long-term role)

Must possess all four required primary course certificates: (Mandated Reporter, SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and Infection Control
Preschool Lead Teacher - Toddlers (With Caregivers)
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Full-Time & Part-Time
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.

Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.

Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.

Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques.

Foster relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional well-being.

Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.

Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
Qualifications:

An associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus.

Music and Movement Teacher - (Mommy & Me Classes)
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Part-Time
Responsibilities:

Lead interactive classes that include music, movement, creative play, sensory activities, story time, and simple art projects.

Build warm relationships with children and caregivers, creating a fun, supportive, and engaging environment.
-
Bring energy, warmth, and playfulness to every session, including singing and instrument playing (guitar or ukulele a plus!).

Assist with program setup, transitions, and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom space.
-
Optionally lead birthday parties and special weekend events for additional hours.

Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and joyful learning experience.
Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education

Experience working with toddlers or young children in a group setting.
-
Background in early childhood music, movement, theater, or art is a plus.

Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.

Energetic, engaging, and playful, comfortable singing, dancing, and leading activities.
